I tried most of the things described on this board, i.e., turning off the Jam and on again, etc. After looking at the electronics of signal it appears to be a simple fix. The jam will only pair to one device as most of you know so, you must clear original device pairing. Take a paper clip and insert in the reset hole and hold about 5 seconds. Make sure during this period youre not looking for it from you iPhone, iPad, etc. Blue light will blink slowly. Turn on bluetooth search on your device, i.e., iPhone, iPad, etc. Press and hold the playpause buttons and volume at the same time until blue light begins flashing rapidly. If it does not connect in a about 5-7 seconds, tap the Jam link that appears in your window lightly. At least this process worked for me when all the others described did not. The bottom line is the blue light on the Jam needs to be blinking rapidly to pair and any previous device pairings need to be deleted from it before you ever begin. Reviews state issues getting the speaker to pair, state they have to try several times. Even rebooting the iPad, cant get it to work Thanks for all the suggestions. Then I tried to pair it with my MacBook Pro, seemingly to no avail. Hmdx Rave Bluetooth Speaker Bluetooth In SettingsI was about to live with just using it with my iPad when and idea hit me--I shut off the Bluetooth in Settings on my iPad, effectively deleting it from my iPad so it was available to another device (I hadnt even thought of this before) and the retried pairing it with my MacBook and using the Use this Device from the Bluetooth dropdown menu above and VOILA It finally worked I also did this with my iPhone 5 and it worked perfectly as well I now have a great little device that works with all my i devices. I realized that the Jam can only pair with one device at one time. Try unpairing any devices to the Jam and re-try pairing with your iPhoneiPad. This worked for me, but not sure if this solves your problem. We loved the smaller ones and thought bigger would be better, especially because we can use two for a stereo sound. But, we cannot get either of the new ones to pair with my iPad 2. I had updated my iPhone to 6.1, but not my iPad2, so I did hoping that would fix the problem. Not. I have an email into tech support at HDMXaudio.com. Ill keep you posted. ![]() Apple disclaims any and all liability for the acts, omissions and conduct of any third parties in connection with or related to your use of the site.
